Sometimes, life pauses. These periods of stillness come, whether we want them to or not. Though hesitant at first, Loisse has found solace and inspiration in times when nothing dramatic happens. Life is full of these non-happenings. The following paintings were created during a time when Loisse was often isolated and creating alone, given time and space to wonder what is around you when life simply goes on.
