Ancestral Blessings

Location: Downtown Las Vegas during Life is Beautiful 2023 (temporary on festival grounds)

Client: Life if Beautiful

This mural celebrates my two matriarchal ancestors, my grandma and auntie who I feel often watches over me and guides me wherever they are. I wanted to extend this blessing to Life is Beautiful’s festival goers whenever they passed by or took a picture.

About the Canvas

A-frame

Technical considerations:

  • Double-sided A-frame structure

  • Sharing the other side with another artist

  • Will be transported and disassembled to move from site to site

  • Consider lighting and wiring for evening viewing
